Guess who rode the school bus for the first time today?
How is my baby old enough to ride on a school bus?!
We were happy to discover that he was eligible to ride the bus home from school. It also gives me an extra half hour before he comes home. He had BEGGED to ride the bus and once we agreed to look into it, his whole outlook on going to school changed. He's super happy and is very, very excited that he gets to be a "busser" now. The bus driver and extra bus attendant are very nice and let me know that he did wonderfully. I was actually at the school at pick-up time since the teacher wasn't sure if Aiden was on the bus list yet, so I got to see him board the bus for the first time. The smile on his face was huge. It was a little emotional for mommy. He's growing up!
