Aiden had soooooo much fun his first day and he's looking forward to his 2nd class this afternoon (it's every Wednesday). Just check out these pictures! And you can click on the title to this post for a full album. The pictures didn't quite turn out the way I wanted though - the lighting in the room isn't camera friendly and even with my camera on sports and action, these kids were moving so much they still ended up blurry!
This class was interesting. It was mostly boys (only three girls) and the kids seemed to be barely into it - except Aiden. It's 3-5 year olds and for whatever reason, most of the kids had this look like, "Why am I taking this class?". It seemed to be a standard tumbling class and she certainly kept them busy. Maybe they were nervous for their first day or something. It was just a little odd.
The class is held at the aquatic center and the boys watched the swim classes once tumbling was over. They BEGGED to go swimming, but we had no swim stuff and even we had, I can't take them both swimming by myself. So that's a plan for the summer - we will take the boys swimming at least a few times (it's going to be hard with catching open swim times and John's overloaded work schedule).
I'm so glad Aiden enjoys this class. It does coincide with his science camp next week, so we're going to have one very busy Wednesday (he'll be in activities basically from 9am to 4:30pm), but maybe he'll sleep well that night!
