This is what happens when you place a saw on top of a ladder, forget about it, and then move the ladder.
And I thought I was the accident prone one!
In all seriousness, yes, he's perfectly fine. We're very happy that it missed his eye. It also hit his hand when he tried to grab the saw as it fell and that cut him pretty badly. We had to clean up blood as he walked down the hallway, but it stopped bleeding quickly. Such excitement!
